In Athens Tours was an idea back in 2014 when the founder, Pete Gr, with a family connection in Athens since the early 1980s, lived in Rome and managed When In Rome Tours. Since that time, When In Athens Tours and then Athens Guided were proposed but never saw the light of day. A physical move to Athens from Lviv in 2018 changed that and here we are. We also operate tours and activities in Pompeii and Herculaneum as In Pompeii Tours, Lviv as In Lviv Tours, and of course Rome as In Rome Tours.

  We offer self-guided trips to the three most beautiful islands closest to Athens, namely Poros, Hydra, and Spetses. In the fullness of time we'll add day trips to Ermioni and Porto Heli, both mainland towns that are exceptionally beautiful, known for snorkelling, scuba diving, and fantastic seafood. Excursions in one day from Athens to Nafplion and Delphi will also be added. Multi-day excursions with self-catering accommodation in winemaking regions such as Nemea, where Hercules carried out his first labour by killing the Lion of Nemea, are work in progress.
